Awesome Latin America
At the beginning of the year we learned about Latin America in Social Studies. We had to do six mapping challenges for Latin America. We had three tests for this unit.We also learned about the land zones in the highlands in central Latin America and the groups that live or work in the Amazon rainforest. When we learned about the groups in the Amazon rainforest we learned about different ways they can save the enviroment there. The langagues that they mostly speak are Spanish, Portuguese, and French. Its population is about is about 569 million people. Latin America is broke up in these subregions: North America, Central America, the Caribbean, the Southern Cope, and the Andrean States.

Learning about Latin America was really fun for me. Sometimes the challenges were a little hard, which made me mad, but the rest of the unit we had on Latin America, it was lots of fun learning about it1
I’ve been to Peru before the home of the Incas. My mom is from Peru and we’re planning to go to the empire in the summer. I can’t wait!
Latin America looks really cool and espessially Machu Picchu, I have never been there but it looks like a great place to visit or go on family vacation. I can’t wait to learn about it.
I had so much fun learning about South America. As you can see in the comment above I was excited to learn about it. But now I am in 6th grade and I learned about South America in Social Studies and I loved it!
We were learning about Latin America in my class and it was so fascinating. My grandfather lives in Puerto Rico and I go there for vacation. It is so beautiful especially when you get a house view of the ocean. My favorite thing about it is when there is a sun set the ocean sparkles and shines. South America is fun because I saw a movie call Rio and there is a place in South America that was called Rio De Jeniro which the movie took place there. I would love to travel to the bottom of South America like Brazil for Carnival. Carnival is a special feast that people practice for all year. South America is amazing and I would love to learn way more about it.
I am in 6th grade this year and we are just finishing our Latin America unit. We are learning about the different regions in the Andes Mountains. We are going to learn about another region really soon and I can’t wait. I thought it was really interesting when we learned about Carnival and the Amazon rainforest. I believe that Brazil is so pretty and interesting to learn about. The Amazon Rainforest hold many interesting people and animals.
