Behavior Expectations
Student participation in this blog is contingent apon the highest standards of behavior.
Students who participate in Mr. Pearse’s BLOG are subject to the rules and expectations as outlined in the Avon School District Student Handbook. Consequences will be applicable consistent with school district behavioral rules, standards and expectations.
The following exhibits / behaviors would be considered “unacceptable” and are additional to the rules outlined in the student handbook.
- Any evidence of cyber bullying within the blog.
- Use of bad language on the blog.
- Comments that do not relate to the blog posting.
- Comments that are of a “social” nature.
- Comments that include racial, ethnic or religious content.
The following consequences could be applied to students choosing to exhibit poor behavior choices:
- Cancellation of user name and access to blog for the remainder of the school year or permanently (up to the discretion of Mr. Pearse).
- Loss of grade points from Computer class.
- Any consequence that comes about via the breaking of a school rule or behavior guideline as illustrated in the Avon School District Handbook.

I think that Behavior Expectations are highly important to keep the blogs safe, and secure. Blogs are for writing, and typing about what you think of in a post you are reading. It’s not like this is Instant Message or something. It is a fun activity to do, while the school year passes by.
I think that you have to have a list of behavioral rules if you have a blog. These rules will help people better understand what they can say or do on the blog. It will cause less problems with the blog and the people who use it. It was a great idea to put a page all about the behavior rules that are expected by Mr. Pearse.
I think that those are good rules. If yyou disobey those rules it is your fault. If you want to talk to someone,do not do it on a blog. A blog’s comments are to show what you think about the post.
Behavior is really importent inside or outside of school. If your going to be rude or disrespectful to someone then you should get kicked out of the blog. Also you can get this taken away which means thet your grade will suffer terribly. So that means everyone should watch what they say to everyone.
A list of behavior rules for the blog is cool because even if you are at home, that doesn’t give you the right to harass people. You should have a list of behavior rules at home, school, on the bus, and on the blog.
Blogs are supposed to be a way to express your opinions so u should feel safe from bullying while on the blog. I agree that any infraction tof the rules should have severe consequences. All the rules listed by Mr. Pearse should be obeyed.
This is a good way to express what you think about different subjects. Why would you distroy that by not behaving correctly? I would defenently not give this chance up! Obeying these behavior expections are highly important to everyone who would like to express their own feelings about each and every subject in this blog. You should always follow these expections.
I agree with everyone’s comment because with out rules this school would have been a mad house! So don’t think their trying to torture us with rules, their just doing it for our own good!
I like these rules and I think they are very fair. You shold listen to these rules and follow the expectaions. You definatley should never bully someone on the blog.
I think that you do need behavioral rules if you have want your blog to be safe. The rules will help people understand what people can say or does on the blog. It may cause less problems within the blog and the kids who use it.
There are many types of ways a bully can bully you. Sometimes usally on a blog a bully can hurt your feelings by saying mean things about you. If they do I know the school provides some rules against it.

I think that this is a exellent oage because it tells you how to make a very good comment like it being at LEAST 30 words in a comment also it a good page because it directs you on being a well behave student on this blog and also being a good role model for other students participating in this blog section or the whole entire blog so that my opinion on this page of the schools student blog.
I think the bahving rules part of the blog is the blog’s protector from any danger or bad things about people in this school or outside this school so I agree with the rules 100% so I hope everyone are following the rules on this very blog
these rules are good because no bad things or people can get on to the bulter elemmentary school blog or any danerous people who do not belong to the bulter school blog and also to keep studedents safe
I think that the rules are a very good thing but i also think that another rule should be never ever to put your first or anyones last name in a blog so that if someone has found your password and bracks into the blog they woon’t know who is typeing on the blog you should change your password right away.

Behavior Expectaions is a really good page for us students because this page is what controls the blog without this page the blog would have been a total mess!
This page is the control panel of this blog if this blog did not have this blog page the blog would have fallen apart so if Mr.Pearse did not make this blog page the blog would not be have running properly as it is right now.
I think the page Behavior Expectations is a great page that was made because it explains how you can get kicked off the blog and not be ablt to access it also it explains how you should behave on the blog if you want to stay on the blog I hope nobody feels they should not be part of this blog.
I think this page is really great for us students because without the rules for this blog the blog would be a total mess for the organization for us students to comment on posts created by other students and if there was no rules for this blog the blog would probably have bad words and inappropriate stuff.
That does sound fair because lot s of people are HotHead and they alway say bad words I’m happy that say bad on the computer.That a big promblem because on chatrooms,Facebook and MySpace say bad words.Ifeel safe on the Butler Blog.

Rules are very important because it keeps all kids from going wild. In fact most school find trimendously bad thing in one of the student’s lockers. Most of these prodlams happenin high school. As you might have seen the postsign saying NOT DRUGS! I’m not trying to be inapropreit but kid do not reolzis the thing that they do are because of there behavior.
The rules are very important to followor there will be concaqences. I would never want to get my password taken away or even be deleted for the school year. I do a certant amount a day. Monday to thursday ( i still coment thurdy)
I think that people should just follow the rules so the world can just be a better place (you know) I just wish that they can follow directions and do what they are supposed to do not do foolish things and make a fool of yourself.
Having rules is awesome because without them you will just go out of control (and you know what I mean) without the expectations and rules there would be no point of it everybody would just be like doing what ever they want that’s not cool.
Rules can be very strict but they can help you alot.
