The World’s Best Activity

     I took a scrapbooking class after school on Tuesdays. I took the same class last year after school. You can make a scrapbook all by yourself. This program costs ten dollars plus an additional thirty five dollars for supplies. The supplies include, scissors, crayons, markers, colored pencils,construction paper, paper protectors, stickers, and pictures. You have to bring your own pictures for your category each week.  The categories include, family, all about me, fun times, friends, and a front cover. If there are many students in a class then you will have assigned categories, if there is a few students you can choose your own categories. You should try scrapbooking after school.

Magnificent Modern Mona Lisa

In Art, we’re making a modern Mona Lisa. We can design her any way we want. You have to put her in a modern scene, like a baseball game or a subway. My Mona Lisa is listening to her iPod while texting. She also has shopping bags with really expensive things. You can change the position of her arms and redo her hair. Her clothes can be re-done so they can be what you want. The real Mona Lisa is over 500 years old. People try to preserve her as much as they can. She was stolen in 1911. The museum that she was in closed down for a week. It was found in 1913 and the thief was caught. You can see her in the Musee du Louvre in Paris, France.
